Blondine is a menswear label based out of Columbus Ohio.

Launched by Wesley Harvin in 2024, Blondine explores an array of cultural touchstones within the lens of the Afro-American spirit, athletics, lineage, and community while embracing an array of other perspectives.

Blondine aims to create products that juxtapose the past with the present by exploring traditional classics and silhouettes while reintroducing them through thoughtful textile choices and grandeur craftsmanship. Harvin also keeps in mind a concept that he adopted from his grandmother, Blondine Harvin, and her resturanture days. That is to create a product and experience that participants can ultimately make their own. Detailed and elevated choices, such as a quilted bomber jacket out of deadstock 3L Gortex sourced in Italy or a boxy hooded sweatshirt made from alpaca wool, are the types of chances the label takes on to challenge the idea of what luxury is and could be.

Informed by his upbringing and roots in the western New York region, the collections of the label always try to implement a feeling of utility, literally and style-wise. The idea of needing a well-equipped coat for the cold winter months while also having it be a garment you intentionally want to wear for its detailed characteristics reflects the duality of one's purchasing decisions within the marketplace. Trends may come and go but what always stays is a person's appetite to grow and expand within the possibilities of what they are and can truly become. Blondine strives to grow with those that participate continually and the possibility of having a hand in that creates a full circle for us.

The themes Harvin explores often reflect on his childhood memories of product, community exploration, and being an outlier within his own spaces at times throughout his life.
